Will there be an additional cost for FUS to apply for UL 62368? We are existing UL 60950 customer.

You asked if there will be an additional cost for FUS to apply for UL 62368 for existing UL 60950 customers.

There are options available for customers to choose from to help with the transitioning. Customers can request what is called Complimentary UL Certification that will cover both standards. In this case, both certifications for end products or power supplies, UL 60950-1 (NWGQ or QQGQ) and UL 62368-1 (AZOT or QQJQ), will be covered by one report having the same file number and FUS information. This is probably the most cost effective and practical way to handle both certifications.

UL is working with customers on understanding Follow-Up (FUS) Services processes and associated fees when including evaluations and certifications to UL/CSA 62368-1 2nd Ed. Your local services provider are happy to discuss the subject in more detail with you.
